Today we celebrate a very important day - today we remember the death of Jesus on the Cross. So what's the significance - the act of God in His work to bring us back into relationship with him by sacrificing his own Son for our benefit - Jesus took the punishment for us who turned our backs on God.
For me this is sobering, the love of God so compelling for me that He gave his own Son for me..
