Wondering what you my friends are doing this hot NYE day?
Guess what we've been up to? We've been cooped up here at the house - madly packing.
It's been a busy day and it feels like we have not made much progress.
We have so much stuff that hasn't been used. So there are bags and boxes of stuff that have and will be going to the local charity shop.
We are very grateful for the help of my brother and SIL for looking after the Little Man for the day! By all accounts he's having a ball! Tough life for some.
We're looking forward to the night off, going over to my brother's for dinner - saves us cooking and then have a bottle of Moet to crack open tonight.
Reflecting on 2012 - we have had a really challenging year, but am thankful to God for getting us through particularly the tough patches.
Am very thankful also for the joy that is our marriage and for our Little Man. Thankful also for the relationships we have and for the generosity of friends.
2013 will bring lots of changes for us as we live out of our home for the first quarter of the year and Little Man will start daycare.
Praying we all cope well, and am reminded that our God is in control particularly during this unsettling period and has the best laid plans for us no matter what happens.
Praying that 2013 brings much joy and blessings!

A belated happy new year to you Steph! I'm glad you had help with the Little Man while packing - we've always 'outsourced' our boys to their grandparents whenever we've moved. It just makes it ten times easier.
