Good luck, it does get easier xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866800275005568441.post-26527079939821327972013-01-19T21:27:01.539+11:002013-01-19T21:27:01.539+11:00thanks for the input and reassurance. happy to rep...thanks for the input and reassurance. happy to report that the day improved dramatically, it was a long morning before hearing that he had stopped crying. We have a strategy in place for next week. So hopefully things will improve.
This morning he was pretending to go to preschool - i am guessing that this might be a good thing. Will definitely keep talking about daycare and getting him used to the whole concept.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05639129748218252485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866800275005568441.post-45697295136680711652013-01-19T14:51:08.293+11:002013-01-19T14:51:08.293+11:00Oh, it's heart breaking when you leave them cr...Oh, it's heart breaking when you leave them crying. What we do is talk about daycare a lot - the night before they go and on the weekend.
Talk about their friends and their teachers, using their names.
It's not going to be easy. And even when they've been there for a while and completely settled in, there will still be random days when they are teary and fragile.
Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03191888392393911765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866800275005568441.post-4437946337625087682013-01-18T20:04:51.884+11:002013-01-18T20:04:51.884+11:00Haha, a third cyber / gymbaroo fan! Though I know with them they stop after 5 minutes and join up with their friends. It may just take time for L to get used to it, though it is tough having to go through that process. :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16156707282450009853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866800275005568441.post-73701023969407483992013-01-18T13:20:06.956+11:002013-01-18T13:20:06.956+11:00That must be so hard for you, and for him! Both my boys ran off to preschool, and then school, without so much as a backward glance! I kind of wish they had displayed a little bit of seperation anxiety... just to validate my worth! ;-)

All the best, one day at a time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866800275005568441.post-4740165513802687602013-01-18T12:54:15.189+11:002013-01-18T12:54:15.189+11:00It pull so hard on your heart strings.
